I just finished wacthing the movie, "Fast Food Nation" and I was very disturbed and I could not believe my eyes when I watched this movie. The movie was not on the whole book (the book is two parts and the movie was on the second part). The movie showed the meat factory and how the workers and the meat are treated within the factory. The workers and the meat are both treated with no respect. There is so many germs within the factory and the workers do wear golves and helmets, but that does not stop the workers from getting cut from the machines or the knives they use to cut the meat. I have not decided if I am changing my focus on the workers in the meat factory or keeping to my original topic about Americans and fast food. This movie shows the viewers inside the meat factory and was a good movie, but if you want to watch it I will warn you it is violate and there is a reason the movie is rated R. This movie turned around my views about fast food.
I watched this movie in high school, and no matter how many times I watch it, I still eat fast food. I know its so unhealthy, but I just can't part from it. I have definitely cut down on my fast food intake however.
ReplyDeleteI am very eager to read what you have to say in your final essay. Best of Luck writing it!
