Going forward
I do not really know what direction I am going to take my blog, but I know that it will be inspirational and people will take something positive from my blog. I enjoy inspiring people especially with quotes and pictures. Quotes are one way I get through tough weeks or put a smile on my face or face of others. Also pictures are a good way to express how one feels. I want my blog to be simple, but catching to the eye by bringing color. I cannot wait to continue to blog throughout the semester.

Yes, definitely use pictures as well as words to convey your thoughts. The two blogs you link are effective because of their bright, simple, eye-catching pictures/graphics.
